Deborah Schultz, Founder & Board Chair
Deborah is a San Francisco/New York-based Internet veteran widely recognized as a pioneer in social technology, highly skilled in applying social web dynamics to cultural, societal, and business enterprises. She has brought success to both startup businesses and Fortune 500 companies, including P&G, General Mills, and GE, as well as numerous Internet startups and venture capital firms. As a staunch advocate for Israel, she is well connected to the Israeli startup-up community.
“Horse” was one of Deb’s first words, although as a Jewish girl from Brooklyn, she didn’t have an opportunity to realize her equestrian dreams until she relocated to San Francisco in 2004. She now rides regularly, volunteers at a local stable and is happiest when in the saddle! T.E.A.M. Israel was birthed from the union of Deb’s love of horses and her passion for Israel.
As Founder and Chair of the Board of T.E.A.M. Israel, Deb brings her multi-faceted Internet and business experience to the cause of advancing equine athletic educational initiatives within Israel while simultaneously promoting Israel on the world stage.
